My friend beat the game with this loadout.
Interestingly enough, I find most of the games he buys these days he just beats by hitting the "primary attack" button...What happened to having to think while you play : ( ?

preowned, scratched gamecube game.
Honestly I'v not had the pleasure of getting this game yet. When I got the dough, I will though. I got FA 1&2 for the pc, kinda boring and FA2 sucks with the time limit. But still pretty original.

Yes, you do have to think. You have to make sure you don't touch the enemies until you've smashed their brains in!
Anyway, on a more serious note, I like using:
Helmet: Ledaunxes somethingorother
First armour: Chinese Stealth Suit
Secondary armour: Lug-Nut's Combat Armour
Primary weapon: Lincoln's Repeater
Secondary weapon: Zhu Rong's pistol
Thirdary weapon: Victory Rifle (Hoping to get The Perforator soon though)

Not with the stealth suit. I just did the Galaxy News Radio fight on Very Hard, two Super Mutant Masters, Two Overlords, and the Behemoth. Just sat there stealthed smacking them with the Deathclaw Gauntlet. Fallout 3 is stupid easy.

and of course, the user mods have made FO3 one of the best games ever created. with mods, my stealth armor has a separate helmet, and can cloak on demand, instead of every time i crouch.
my favourite mod would be weapon mod kits, which at this point encompasses all the standard weapons and uniques. ever seen a reservist rifle, with a laser sight, silencer, and extended clip? yeah, it's as powerful as it sounds. almost as powerful as my laser rifle, with scope, extended clip, laser sight, and full automatic. the damn thing fires as fast as a gatling laser and is acurate enough to score headshots at medium range.
